It’s been raining the whole dam day and I am feeling extremely down. Poetic as well.

Rain

Emptiness fills into the space,
Accompanied by foreign tears of sorrow.
While pain drives into a desolate place,
Nothing except tears may flow.

Falling as rain which wets the land,
Soaking up all emotions as if being told.
Bringing both darkness and it’s friend,
The harsh and bitter cold.

Night falls with clouds casting their shadows,
A reflection of grief which screams thunder.
Shooting beams of shrieks to the ground below,
Exposed and nothing to hide under.

Thunderous rain silence all cries,
Who’s there to stop your violent sobs?
Defeated and fallen with bloodshot eyes,
What’s there to fight against the odds?

For now the rain is finally gone,
Met upon the wondrous reclamation of light.
Overwhelmed with feelings of getting reborn,
With hopes of better days in sight.
