holidays.

Hohoho its happy holidays time with one pathetic week of not so much holidays since there are still such things known as supplmentary lessons. Certainly this 1 week of holiday is not pretty much enjoyed anyway since major exams are round the corner. Talking about missing out on fun, I missed out on this year’s Bay Beats with my friends, but I thought it’s alright since after all I get to spend my time with someone special 🙂 Watched 12 Lotus and overall it was enjoyable, something like Chinese Soap Opera, but much better though cos the singing is not done in some kinda glass shattering super high pitch. It’s actually pretty pleasant and definitely kind to the ears. So what’s next? I expect just more book and more studies, unfortunately I am born into this world where I am suppose to waste my teen away through drowning myself in algebra and organic chemistry. Damn.

After loving you, I cant love another.

Money really not enough

Caught Money Not Enough 2 with special someone on National Day recently and as expected, it’s just some other trashy Singaporean film but probably with a good story line though. People said that the film is touching, maybe I do agree to a certain extent. Reminds me of my own grandmother though, since she’s down in the hospital and counting the days right now. Maybe it’s a sense of lost that touches me, for I will be experiencing the same thing rather soon, but not so dramatically. It’s painful living like that everyday, knowing that something will happen to my grandmother eventually. Though I ain’t very close to her, losing someone eternally still means something. Like the rest of my family, I ain’t sad and neither would I pray for a miracle to happen. I just hope she will go in peace, with a smile as her last expression.

I really wish I can control time~ to spend it with you.

Batman or the joker?

It is said that the good will always win, and the bad will never have a good ending. Perhaps not in the movie of Batman: The Dark Knight. Finnally watched this hugely anticipated movie. A rather difficult to understand movie, with the plot developing at a rather fast pace, but it can be much more appreciated after having some thoughts of it after the movie. Like in the reviews, Heath Ledger was wicked sick, just plain spooktacular and awesome. Rumors about him winning a Oscar might be true afterall? Obviously the Joker won in the movie, or maybe he achieved even more than a win as a character. Unfortunately Heath Ledger is already not around anymore, which just goes to show how fragile our lives really are.

Caught the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian yesterday at Causeway Point with her. Its one long movie to watch, and not particularly enticing to keep me awake, or maybe I was just dead beat. I would classify this movie under something like the Lord of the Rings, except this is more towards a fairytale movie (DUH its under Walt Disney). Average movie overall.

These days food seems to be free, everywhere outside restaurants there are long ques. After being to Causeway Point yesterday, this statement is pretty reinforced. I wonder why people bother waiting at such unbelievable long ques, is Swensens really fantastic? Does the food Ichiban serve have anything spectacular and out of this world? O come on having a train lined up behind the counter is much more considered out of this world. Maybe the population is just growing too large for the facilitators to cope, I will start digging myself a cave to facilitate myself. O yea! I didnt know that doughnuts can taste so good, had some chocolate doughnuts from munchi doughnuts yesterday and it was impressive (at this moment of time you may be thinking that I am such an idiot for not knowing, but it’s ok cos I have got the same thinking)! The ones from doughnut factory are pretty awesome as well! When I get my cave done, I will get a supplier to supply me with doughnuts, save the long ques.

It was magical 🙂

IRON MAN! Sounds familiar? That superhero which got you glued to the television while you were a kid? O yes, he’s the one, now back in the theatres and gosh I am so impressed. Good movie, interesting story line, humorous and most importantly AWESOME graphics. Havent watched such a good movie for quite some time. Two thumbs up! Probably two big toes up too if I can do it, maybe we shall leave it to your imagination. Give me an opportunity, I might considering watching that movie again, which is actually a rare occurence. Am I getting crazy over Iron Man? Maybe. Surprisingly, Robert Downey Junior is pretty good. My initial reaction was, ‘What?! Who’s this? Superhero, no way’ (shake head). Lastly, the Audi R8 is SEXYYYY.

Not to mention, I had a great day, thanks girl 🙂

Sky Of Love…

Went out yesterday to watch Sky of Love with her. It was a Cathay exclusive movie, watched it at Causeway Point. It’s a sad love story from Japan, and as usual, you put two very close lovers together and one of them gets any fatal illness, throw in a couple of actors who can cry alot and there you have it, a sure-win combination for making sad love stories. But I do enjoy the twist in the story though, where the two lovers were schooling, which shows that young teenagers, be it a gentleman or a hooligan, can have steady, long-lasting relationships just like adults do. Maybe we are just too modernized, where teenagers tend to mature faster, but perhaps that doesn’t happen all the time. Another interesting twist is the introduction of another guy, a very nice guy I think, which does remind me of past memories. Two thumbs up for the movie overall. As expected, people left the cinema with red and swollen eyes. I didn’t cried, so did she haha, but it moved me a little at the end. It’s movies like these that I should watch more often to get in touch with my feelings, or else sooner or later I will be turning into a zombie. With more and more work stacking up and the pressure of the upcoming ‘O’ levels, I really hope I could survive. Randomly, I love coffee bean 🙂
